Aguak Lake

This is a beautiful and peaceful place that I always recommend. This lake is located in the Peruvian Mountains and you just need a day to visit it.
This is at 4560m. and it's a challenging acclimatization hiking.

HOW TO GET IT:

• At first, yo have to take a combi from Huaraz to Willcahuain, it costs just S/.1.50.
• When you arrive there, you can take some pictures and start hiking up. There's a path of white stones and it'ss advisable not to deviate . The way is gonna take about 3 hours.
• Finally you will arrive to the lake and enjoy the adventorous day!

DON'T FORGET:

• Fruits and water, they're better than soda.
• Some snacks.
• Walking shoes.
• Gloves.
